Biography: Vincent La Chapelle is a French cook employed by the British Ambassador to The Hague, Philip Stanhope, 4th Earl of Chesterfield, between 1728 and 1731. In this last year he attended the Masonic Lodge Grand Lodge of the Freemasons of England in London.
