Battery syrup: Battery syrup (or battery syrup) is a concentrate of cooked sugar cane juice obtained by evaporation.
The name "battery" comes from the fifth and last boiler used to make sugar in old sugar factories.
It is a very widespread product in Guadeloupe and Martinique. It is used in particular for tafia (industrial rum)
