Vitamin B6: Vitamin B6 is a water-soluble vitamin existing in several forms (Synonym: adermine), pyridoxal phosphate being its biologically active form, as a cofactor involved in several reactions of amino acid metabolism, in particular transaminations, deaminations and decarboxylations.
