Present: adj. and nm (word coming from the Latin praesens, praesentis, from praeesse “to be ahead”).

1. Who is in the place, the group where the person who is talking or who is being talked about is.
To be present in, at a place, in someone's house.

She was present when the accident happened (witness).
To be present at something (attend).
