Hâtelet: nm A hastelet (or hâttelet or attelet) is a silver metal skewer surmounted by a historiated motif, such as a rooster, crustacean, fish, hare, wild boar. The hastes are used for the presentation of a hot or cold dish, during a large service.
The hashes are planted in fans in the room and the stem is very often filled with edible elements (trussed crayfish, dumplings, kidneys, truffles, etc.).
