Fagot: nm (literally the fagot is a bundle of small wood, branches). In the kitchen (and not in the cellar), certain vegetables are presented in bundles, such as green beans or butter beans (green beans with yellow pods), small asparagus (braised or steamed) surrounded by a thin slice of vegetables or of bacon.
