The verb “hoard” has several meanings:
1. With a complement in the plural or in the collective sense: To bring together in considerable quantity, by successive additions (to accumulate, to heap up, to pile up, to gather, to collect).

Amass wealth, money, or in absolute terms, amass (capitalize, hoard).
