Gastrolatrous : nm (word coming from gastro and idolater, which is someone who dedicates some kind of worship, adoration to someone or something).
A gastrolâtre is therefore of a worshiper of the gastronomy, which is stronger than a gourmet.
This term was coined by the writer François Rabelais which described itself as "bon vivant and gastrolâtre".
