Garden cress: Garden cress is a herbaceous plant (Brassicaceae family - Botanical name: Lepidium sativum) used as a vegetable or as a salad.
Garden cresson is also called in French "passage cultivated" and "nasitort" because of its acrid taste. Its names in English are Garden pepperwort, Garden Cress, Upland Cress, in German Gartenkresse, in Spanish berro de huerta or mastuerzo, in Portuguese agrião and mastruco.
