Padrón peppers: Padrón peppers (pimientos de Padrón, in Spanish) are a variety of peppers (Solanaceae family - Capsicum annuum 'Padrón') native to the province of La Coruña in Galicia (Spain). It is a very sweet pepper to the taste which measures only 5 to 10 cm.
Padrón peppers are used especially for tapas, grilled (in coarse salt), in fritters or in marinade.
