Mouroungue: The mouroungue (word coming from Tamil mouroung maram meaning "vital tree") is a tree known under the name of mouroum in Mauritius and mouroungue in Reunion Island.
It belongs to the Moringaceae family (Botanical name: Moringa oleifera).
It is commonly called horseradish tree or drumstick tree in English.
Other names: brèdes mouroungue, moringa, marango, acácia-branca.
