Guernica (chili pepper): Gernika pepper (called Guernica) is a green pepper (family Solanaceae - Botanical name: Capsicum annuum, L.) belonging to the local variety "pimiento de Vizkaia" (chili pepper from Biscay) which grows mainly in the region of Txoriherri, Mungia and Busturia in northern Spain.
The Guernica pepper is a Spanish pepper similar to the Padron pepper in flavor but longer.
