Dried apricots: In France and in Europe in general, dried apricots are all imported, from Turkey for the best of them, but also from Iran, California and Australia.
As with all dried fruits, the loss of water due to drying leads to an increase in the energy value (at equal weight, the dried apricot provides more calories than the fresh apricot).
Dried apricots are tasted as they are, but they must be rehydrated in lukewarm water for at least two hours ...
