Chiba: "Chiba" is the Arabic name for absinthe which is used to flavor mint tea in North Africa (ch'hiba in Maghrebian dialect) during the winter season, when mint is rarer.
Chiba is a very fragrant plant with a rather bitter taste, which gives mint tea enough bitterness without altering the taste.
