Bistort: The bistort (word coming from the Latin bistorta, from bis- and torta meaning "twisted") is a perennial plant (family Polygonaceae), with long spikes of pink flowers, whose rhizome, twice twisted, was once used for its medicinal properties.
It also bears the name of serpentaire.
It is a plant that likes moist and rich soil growing in the middle mountains.
