Maritime aster: locut. The sea aster is a perennial wild plant (Asteraceae family - Botanical name: Aster tripolium L.-), living in meadows and maritime marshes.
It blooms in summer and early fall on cliffs and in salt meadows. The leaves are green with a marked midrib; radicals oval, cauline lanceolate and narrow. Very branched, its stems are glabrous and fleshy.
