Alise: nm Alise is the fruit of the alise tree which is a mountain tree (Rosaceae family), a variety of mountain ash.
Alise is a scarlet berry the size of a cherry with a slightly tart or sour taste with subtle notes of almond or marzipan.
Alise, which is harvested in autumn, is used almost chard, to make jams and jellies, as well as an artisanal brandy.
