Jeune : adj. « Jeune » qualifie quelque-chose qui est peu avancé en âge.
Un jeune poulet. Des jeunes pousses.
Ou qui est nouveau, récent : une eau-de-vie trop jeune.
Un fromage jeune s'oppose à un fromage affiné.
Un vin jeune peut désigner un vin de l'année déjà à son optimum, aussi bien qu'un vin ayant passé sa première année mais n'ayant pas encore développé toutes ces qualités. C’est donc un vin qui n’a pas assez vieilli....
