Sweet and salty: adj. "Sweet-salty" is a definition initially applied to dishes (especially meat-based preparations) that are cooked with salt and served sweet or with a sweet sauce (fruits, berries, etc.).
In French cuisine, two sweet and savory dishes are classics of gastronomy: rabbit with prunes and duck with orange.
