Sunday roast (English cuisine): The Sunday roast (in French: “roast beef from Sunday”) is a traditional British Sunday dish consisting of a piece of meat to be roasted (roast), most often beef, or a vegetarian dish such as nut roast, Yorkshire pudding, roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, often steamed, stuffing and gravy sauce.
