Solilemme: Of Alsatian origin, the solilemme is a kind of brioche rich in eggs, butter and fresh cream, which is opened in two after cooking, while still hot, to sprinkle with melted salted butter.
It is often served with tea, but can be presented in slices with smoked fish.
