Singju (Indian cuisine): Singju (pronounced sing-zoo) is a dish from the state of Manipur in India.
It originated in the Meitei culture (*) but has been widely adopted by most ethnic communities in the state and in some neighboring states in northeastern India.
Often served as a spicy side dish, it is also enjoyed as an afternoon or evening snack.
