Aligue fried rice (Filipino cuisine): Aligue fried rice is a Filipino fried rice dish cooked by sautéing pre-cooked rice with crab fat (taba ng talangka or aligue), roasted garlic, spring onions, black pepper, salt and possibly butter. It is traditionally a bright orange-yellow color due to crab fat.
It can be combined with seafood such as prawns and squid and eaten as is or accompanied by meat dishes.
