Red sauce: The red sauce is a typical Mexican sauce (salsa rossa) composed of the following ingredients: ripe tomatoes, serrano green peppers, onion, garlic, fresh chopped cilantro, salt and pepper.
This sauce accompanies meat, fish and pasta, but also many snacks (nachos, tacos, taquitos, totopos) and Mexican or Tex-Mex sandwiches (burritos, etc.).
