Quzi (Iraqi cuisine): Quzi (Arabic: قوزي), also spelled qoozi or ghoozi is a popular rice dish and it is considered one of the national Iraqi dishes. It is served with lamb cooked very slowly, with roasted nuts and raisins served over rice.
This dish was introduced to Turkey by Syrian immigrants. It can also be found in some Arab states in the Persian Gulf.
