Milk bread (pastry): Milk bread is a pastry product (See Viennese pastries) in leavened dough, made with milk, in an elongated or round shape, sometimes sprinkled with grains of sugar. Milk bread is served for breakfast or tea, and it is also used to make small sandwiches (there are miniature format ones, the shuttles, for buffets).
In England, milk bread is called bun.
