Nillon: The nillon (or nion) is a local product in French-speaking Switzerland. It is the residue from the pressing of the nuts. It can be found in slabs, grated or in powder form. There is nillon of walnuts and hazelnuts packaged in small bags of 160 grams.
In the canton of Vaud (Switzerland), nillon is used to make a walnut cake and an apple pie.
In France, it is found under the name of "walnut flour" or "nut cake".
