Mirliton (pastry): A mirliton is a puff pastry tart topped with almond and vanilla cream, decorated with three star halves.
The preparation known as "mirliton apparatus" is used in the composition of many tarts (with raspberries, blueberries, rhubarb, etc.). Dry petits-fours flavored with orange blossom water are also called “mirliton”.
