Mint sauce (English cuisine): Mint sauce is a typical English preparation. It consists of a julienne (see Julienne) of fresh mint leaves mixed with brown sugar and vinegar, seasoned with salt and pepper and relaxed with a little water.
It is served cold and traditionally accompanies hot or cold lamb.
