Minatamis na saging (Filipino cuisine): Minatamis na saging (literally “sweet banana”) is a Filipino dessert made from saba bananas cooked in a sugar syrup (called arnibal) made with muscovado sugar and water.
Some recipes also add a little salt and vanilla extract. It can be eaten on its own or added as an ingredient to other desserts (especially for the halo-halo).
