Manjar branco (Brazilian cuisine): Manjar branco is a pure white Brazilian coconut pudding similar to classic blancmange. It is identical to the tembleque of Puerto Rico. In Brazil, the manjar branco is prepared in a ring mold (savarin mold) and it is served with a sauce made from pitted prunes poached in port. Ready-to-use mixes to make the manjar branco and tembleque are available in grocery stores and supermarkets in Brazil in the United States of America.
