Kimizu (sauce): Kimizu sauce is a Japanese dip-type sauce that is similar in its use to mayonnaise. It is made by mixing the following ingredients: egg yolk, rice vinegar, dashi and sugar), then heating them in a double boiler until the mixture thickens.
Kimizu sauce is eaten cold and served with boiled food.
