Fufu (African cuisine): Fufu (or foufou) is an edible paste, solid or soft according to the consumer's taste, made from boiled and pounded vegetable flour. It is a staple food for many populations in Equatorial Africa. It is made from cassava, plantain, malanga or yam and is eaten with a sauce on the side. It is a dish very appreciated in all Africa especially in West Africa.
