English biscuit: An English biscuit is a shortbread and low-sugar dry biscuit widely exported by the English from 1860. English biscuits quickly gained the British colonies, but also France, and all the regions where tea is appreciated.
It was in 1862 that Honoré-Jean Olibet, son of a baker from Bordeaux, imported English manufacturing processes to his country.
