Pastelón de papa (Dominican cuisine): Pastelón de papa in the Dominican Republic is made with a layer of mashed potatoes, one or two of spiced ground meat, another layer of mashed potatoes, all topped with cheese grated and gratinated in the oven. It is a shepherd's pie typical of the island that is also cooked in Haiti.
