Cressin (Swiss cuisine): A cressin is a round bread baked in a wood oven made in Switzerland in the canton of Valais. Cressin is made from semi-white flour (wheat and rye) and cornflower. In addition, cinnamon, sugar, raisins and anise are added.
It is decorated before baking with a cross made with the handle of the tapolette which is a round and heavy instrument for flattening bread.
