Bagnarde (Swiss pastry) : A Swiss specialty, bagnarde is a pie made from a fund of puff pastry, full of pippin apples (or other fruits like apricots du Valais) finely cut into slices, crème fraîche, sucre, cannelle powder, of caramel, sprinkled with icing sugar and sometimes surmounted or accompanied by a ball of ice vanilla. The origin of the bagnarde would be the town of Bagnes located in the district of Entremont, but it is found throughout the Bas-Valais.
The convict exists in a version salt : to vegetables, champignons and of course at cheese…Swiss Valais.
