Chiberta (Basque cuisine): A chiberta is a small Basque pastry, made with financier dough and decorated with pralines.
The term Chiberta would be the Basque derivative of "Gibraltar", and would have given its name both to a place in the town of Anglet (third town in the Atlantic Pyrenees) and to this pastry shop.
