Blenny (fish): A blenny is a small river fish (family Blenniidae - Scientific name: Salaria fluviatilis) with thick, slimy skin, no scales, tawny in color. Being able to reach 15 cm, the blenny is well known in the South, where it is eaten fried under the name of "caquette".
