Banga soup (African cuisine): Banga soup or palm nut soup is a soup eaten in the Niger Delta, and more widely in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon, whose main ingredient is the pulp of the palm fruit oil (Scientific name: Elaeis guineensis).
