Antesite : Antésite is a concentrate based on licorice, created in 1898 by Holidays Perrot-Berton, apothecary in Voiron (Isère), who thus intended to fight against alcoholism among railway workers and on building sites. Diluted in water, at the rate of 10 drops for a glass, it gives a drink thirst-quenching. Without sucre ni sweetener, Antésite exists in several perfumes.
Location: From the outset, the company's production site and head office has been located in Coublevie (Isère), near Voiron.
The site has not been visited since October 2009, according to the tourist office of the country of Voiron.
Products: The Antésite group owns the Antésite and Théodule Noirot brands.
Antésite brand: The Antésite Group produces traditional Antésite, made from liquorice, with various complementary flavors:
- anise (the original perfume),
- lemon (created in the 1920s),
- mint (created in the 1920s),
- Orange (created in the 1920s),
- tail (1976)
- tea (1998)
- grapefruit pink/lime (2010),
- eucalyptus/pine (2010)
- apple/cannelle (2014)
In 2015, Antésite also launched two complementary ranges: Fruisite, fruit extracts: grapefruit/citrus, strawberry/banana and raspberry/pomegranate.

Like all liquorice products, Antésite contains glycyrrhizic acid, Antésite has the highest concentration, 23 g/l. Prolonged excessive consumption of Antésite can lead to high blood pressure and hypokalemia1.
Théodule Noirot brand: Antésite uses Théodule Noirot products: Noirot extracts, alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic beverages.
The name "Antésite" could come from an anagram of the word " anisette ". Or even from the Greek “anti” (“against”) and from the Latin “sitis” (“thirst”).
