Analı kızlı (Turkish cuisine): Analı kızlı soup is a soup from southern and southeastern Turkey (Malatya, Kahramanmaraş, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Tarsus, Adana) which includes meatballs, tomato, bulgur and chickpeas.
"Analı kızlı" means, literally, "with daughters and mothers", the daughters being the chickpeas and the mothers of beautiful bulgur dumplings, all in a soup (çorbası) like a yogurt sauce.
