Abgoosht (Iranian cuisine): Abgoosht (Persian: آبگوشت Ābgusht, literally "gravy") is an Iranian stew. It is also called Dizi (Persian: دیزی), which refers to the traditional stoneware dishes in which it is served. Some describe it as a "hearty Persian mutton soup thickened with chickpeas."
