Breton palet (pastry): Breton palet is a dry biscuit made from shortcrust pastry. It is thick, about 1,5 cm, and contains on average 20% semi-salted butter as well as vanilla sugar. Its name comes from the game of shuffleboard, whose metal elements are in the shape of the biscuit.
