Capillary: The capillary is a variety of fern (Filicine family - Botanical name: Adiantum pedatum) whose leaves, aromatic and mucilaginous, are used in the preparation of infusions and pectoral syrups. Syrup was once used to sweeten hot drinks, especially Bavarian.
