Velay verbena: La verveine du Velay is a liqueur from Auvergne (central France) made in 1853 from thirty-three plants, macerated 20 days incalvados de wine which is then re-distilled. THE'alcohol is then aged 8 months in barrel de Oak before being watered down with some sucre and miel. The green verbena is 50%Vol and the yellow 40%Vol.
