Pontarlier: "Pontarlier" is an informal name designating an anise-flavored alcoholic aperitif made in the region of Pontarlier (department of Doubs in Franche-Comté). It is most certainly the pastis of Franche-Comté.
A "Pontarlier" historically designates the "Pontarlier-Anis", created in 1921 by Armand Guy, and is colloquially called the bridge (Trademark for the "Pontarlier-Anis" of the Pierre Guy de Pontarlier Distillery).
