Mauzac rosé: Mauzac rosé is a variety of white Mauzac which has mutated naturally. It comes from the South-West region of France and is established in Gaillac and Limoux. Its clusters of tight berries are pink but turn gray when ripe. Productive when pruned short on limestone and clay-limestone soils, it is susceptible to disease but manages to resist powdery mildew and mildew, the two most virulent diseases in vineyards.
