Mijiu (Chinese beer): Mijiu (Chinese: 米酒; pinyin: mǐjiǔ), sometimes romanized as michiu, is a type of traditional Chinese beer brewed from sticky rice. It's a kind of huangjiu, another Chinese rice wine.
It is clear and sweet like Korean soju or Japanese sake, with an alcohol content between 12% and 20%.
It is drunk warm and can also be used in cooking.
