Eudémis: nm The eudemis of the vine is a pest moth of the vineyard called lobesia botrana. Its caterpillar (by perforation) causes
lesions on the bunches often causing the appearance of gray rot (botrytis) which can lead to acid rot.
However, INRA has demonstrated mutual benefit relationships between eudemis and botrytis cinerea (noble rot)
thus opening up prospects for new forms of combating this parasite.
